My cousin is contracting with (Big company, name deleted) in England, and, as she has a young child, the company is paying for family members to go over there and watch said kid. I, with my "eh, whatever" work schedule, was planning on going over there for a couple weeks in March (for free.). Works out great for everyone.
Except that I would miss both my brother's Confimation speech and his actual confirmation. I get the sense that confirmation is not a huge thing for him, but my Mom would certainly have issues with me missing it.

I would love to tape TAR tonight, but I'm pretty sure either my VCR is dying or there's something wrong with the video tape I've been using -- I was having bizarre issues with it turning on and off spastically, and I couldn't get the tape out, but finally I did get the tape out, and now I've had no problem. So I'm afraid to put it back in, is the thing.
