So I'm looking at the registrations for the LOST party, and it's like, 10-1 women. I'm thinking that I could use this to my advantage, and charge boys $700 to register, because, yo, chances are good.
Interesting. I heard that the OneRingParty was mostly women. I guess women just like to socialize more?
I think ima teach him sign language over the phone. THAT IS HOW ADVANCED HE IS.
Wait, isn't he already writing his first novel?
Wait, isn't he already writing his first novel?
I heard he was writing it in French.
I heard he was writing it in French.
Don't be silly. He's writing it in Braille with his eyes closed. THAT'S HOW ADVANCED HE IS!
Also? He grew four teeth, without any help at all. AND! He points at things. Like, he pointed at a mole on my shoulder, to let me know I should get it checked out in case it's precancerous.
He can't really speak, but I could see him sort of working out the diagnosis in his mind.
He can't really speak,
Silly. That's what the sign language is for.
Here's my one and only.
Beverly, TC is a Tripod Cat, right? I think I remember him from back in the TT days. We have a friend with a tripod cat named Abby for Abnormal. Hee.
More pet pictures from the vaults - haven't uploaded anything recent, but these are still hanging around on my webspace from around 1999 or so. Bear in full rescue doggie mode, Maceo, when he still fit in the sink, Kuma and the hedgehog. Man, he was so skinny! It took him years to finally fill out.
Bear has on her booties in the rescue picture. Maceo isn't as cute anymore. And I'm constantly surprised at how thin Kuma was.
That apple was unanimously agreed to be the best treat we all had over Christmas.
Yum. OK, next occasion, I'm getting one. Or giving one. Whatever.
My sister--who was in no way as advanced as Gavin, clearly, because who could be?--never crawled either. She did a commando thing where she'd pull herself along with her elbows, but there was no knee action. Very funny.
OMG doggie booties. I mean, I get it. But, doggie booties!! Cute.
My niece, who was always in dresses, couldn't crawl because her legs got all tangled up. So, she started using the Bear Walk, with her feet and hands both flat on the ground. She got around like that for a few months before she got up the nerve to stand upright.
