Also? He grew four teeth, without any help at all. AND! He points at things. Like, he pointed at a mole on my shoulder, to let me know I should get it checked out in case it's precancerous.
He can't really speak, but I could see him sort of working out the diagnosis in his mind.

Beverly, TC is a Tripod Cat, right? I think I remember him from back in the TT days. We have a friend with a tripod cat named Abby for Abnormal. Hee.
More pet pictures from the vaults - haven't uploaded anything recent, but these are still hanging around on my webspace from around 1999 or so. Bear in full rescue doggie mode, Maceo, when he still fit in the sink, Kuma and the hedgehog. Man, he was so skinny! It took him years to finally fill out.

My sister--who was in no way as advanced as Gavin, clearly, because who could be?--never crawled either. She did a commando thing where she'd pull herself along with her elbows, but there was no knee action. Very funny.

My niece, who was always in dresses, couldn't crawl because her legs got all tangled up. So, she started using the Bear Walk, with her feet and hands both flat on the ground. She got around like that for a few months before she got up the nerve to stand upright.

Not just any doggie booties, but Muttluks!. They were vital to keep her toesies from getting all torn up from the broken granite that we were hiking on.
