Well, quite a lot of fuss. If I didn't know better, I'd think we were dangerous.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Jujst saw my first Alias episode. Borrowed the first season DVDs from Kat & Lori. Kinda dug it.

Yay! I was gonna do that too.

Come to think of it, you having the dvds may be why that didn't happen.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

The internet is a strange place sometimes. In one window, I have a student informing me that a friend and colleague has died. She thought I already knew. I didn't. In another window, light-hearted natter about place names and pronounciations.

And now I'm considering stacking cats.

Sorry to hear about your friend, Aurelia.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

We have Season One. And watched the pilot, which was great fun. Jennifer Garner totally rocked.

ETA-- So sorry, Aurelia. That's a hard thing to find out that way.

Thanks. I wasn't completely unprepared... I knew that he'd suffered a stroke and that things didn't look good... but yeah, it was odd.

Didn't mean to kill the thread.

Is it just me, or is it impossible to read this without the Governator's accent?

Thank you for your email to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. The Governor appreciates hearing from concerned and involved Californians, as well as from individuals all over the world who have an interest in California.

Governor Schwarzenegger is committed to restoring your confidence in state government. As the Governor has said, with hard work and your help, California will once again be the "Golden Dream by the Sea".

Due to the unprecedented number of emails sent to the Governor, there may be a delay in immediately responding to your email. Please know that the Governor's office is making every effort to respond to your inquiry and will ensure that your voice is heard by the Governor.

Also, don't most elected officials get lots of mail/e-mail/faxes? I would think that by this point the volume is entirely precedented.

No dead thread, just sleeping.

When was California the Golden dream by the sea?

Swouncing

Around and not able to post much is not really helping, is it?

(Lee? Last week, with the nasty cold, one of the things that comforted me most was your gift of LotR. Just so you'd know).
