Gavin, ask yourself this question. What are you more afraid of, a giant murderous demon or me?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Thanks. I wasn't completely unprepared... I knew that he'd suffered a stroke and that things didn't look good... but yeah, it was odd.

Didn't mean to kill the thread.

Is it just me, or is it impossible to read this without the Governator's accent?

Thank you for your email to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. The Governor appreciates hearing from concerned and involved Californians, as well as from individuals all over the world who have an interest in California.

Governor Schwarzenegger is committed to restoring your confidence in state government. As the Governor has said, with hard work and your help, California will once again be the "Golden Dream by the Sea".

Due to the unprecedented number of emails sent to the Governor, there may be a delay in immediately responding to your email. Please know that the Governor's office is making every effort to respond to your inquiry and will ensure that your voice is heard by the Governor.

Also, don't most elected officials get lots of mail/e-mail/faxes? I would think that by this point the volume is entirely precedented.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

No dead thread, just sleeping.

When was California the Golden dream by the sea?

Okay, maybe a little dead.

Swouncing

Around and not able to post much is not really helping, is it?

(Lee? Last week, with the nasty cold, one of the things that comforted me most was your gift of LotR. Just so you'd know).

No, it isn't just you.

Nilly! No, not helping exactly, but nonetheless happy-making. I was about to post, "WHY AREN'T YOU PEOPLE HERE TO ENTERTAIN ME?", so you saved me from that, at least.

Why aren't you people here to entertain me?

Aww. I'm glad.

Kristin, go back to bed.

I'm here! And I've got juggling penguins! And light-up juggling balls! And a sleepy cat! (okay, so the last exclamation point was a bit of a stretch)

Oh, and Hi, Nilly!

But...but...Lee, I just woke up! And it's...technically morning....

Hi aurelia! I'm so sorry about your friend.

I am very jealous of the light up juggling balls and the penguins (I also have a sleepy cat, so no jealousy on that account). I can juggle three objects, but I always end up destroying pieces of fruit since I don't have any actual juggling tools.
