That's one spunky little girl you've raised. I'm gonna eat her.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I have just discovered the joys of iTunes/iPod shuffle-play. Now playing: a beautiful duet from the Philip Glass opera Akhnaten.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

Next thing you'll be telling me I can't marry Cameron Diaz.

Not in the state of California, anyway.

But eww. Do you really want to? I mean, she's cute and everything, but I honestly don't understand why she is so popular. I never got what was so special about Mary. And her dorky underpants dance didn't do much to endear her to me either. Even though I have nothing against her. Also, I think there are many prettier girls out there, if that's the route you want to go. But if your heart is set on her. Well, good luck in Canada.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

That is a beautiful piece. I remember listening to that in the library back in the 80s. At a little carrel with earphones. God, that feels like a million technologies ago.

Allegedly, the blonde ditz in Lost in Translation is based on her.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Announcement: I have now eaten mac and cheese

Analysis: It was yummy and I am no longer hungry.

I may be the most boring guest anywhere, but I can deal with that.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I had re-heated stuff from the noodle place in Ann Arbor. It was good. Although Kraft might have been a passable substitute.

I really like cheese. Also starches.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Okay, why'd Jack & Bobby have to have knee injury issues? I had to watch the end of the episode from the hall. And next week looks like somewhat familiar territory. But I do like that new guy that Courtney fell for. I would too. If I wasn't busy trying to get into the pants of the Bradley Cooper character.

Also, why is the Charmed Big Bad named after delicious chicken?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I may be the most boring guest anywhere, but I can deal with that.

You're not boring! You're easily entertained, which is good for a crappy host like me. And it's great to have someone to watch X-Play with.
