I don't know whether to laugh or to be appalled.
AAAAUGH!!! My eyes!
[eta: But this, on the bottom of that page, made me laugh:
If for any reason you are not happy with your gnome, simply return it to us and we will refund your money. No questions asked.]
Band of Brothers! So THAT'S where I saw Eion Bailey before er.
That gnome is funny, if only because of the crossed fingers. I wish it were a little cheaper, though, because how fun would it be to buy one to smash it??
I think it's mitigated, Trudy, by it being really damned obvious he was gonna do it. Much less post traumatic stress suffered in situations like that.
He also
threatened them with the gun before he did it.
They never let things impact that actually would-- the helicopter crashing in the ambulance bay, the various vehicles that have plowed into the waiting room... Carter, Abby, and Mark were upset by being personally attacked on the premises, but the incidents never seemed to bother anyone else.
It annoys me deeply how they have to inject dozens of far out tragedies into an EMERGENCY ROOM. And nobody can just have a kid... well, Susan is the first. There has to be a custody battle or a divorce or someone dead. Hell, Eric LaSalle's character got all three AND a question of paternity AND the kid was disabled. Oy.

I have a friend who really wants to get one and drop it off a roof somewhere. But that would mean spending the money and taking the effort.
I think it would be most fun to catapult Gnome!Bush on a trebuchet.
Maybe it could be set on fire first.
Maybe TDS will buy one and smash it.

So many options. So few gnomes.

Well, but it's a soap. A soap masquerading as a medical show, but a soap nonetheless. Just be glad no one's evil twin has showed up.

Uhh,
Abby was kidnapped two eps ago,
and there was definitely impact of at least an episode.
But it's TV -- cops don't get that many interesting cases all back to back, Vegas crime scenes can't be
that
fascinating.
I've been to real live ERs. They were pretty boring, and I probably wouldn't watch the show.
