Pay-per-view does not have neat commentary tracks and cast interviews, so I'll be sticking with DVD rentals for all but the handful of movies that I know I want to buy.
My PPV actually has some of the extras from films offered for free as choices. Not a lot, but still. You've got to give them credit.

ita's case, of the not-offered-by-PPV, is a little trickier. I think they are calling this the "trailing edge" market. A cheaper solution is needed there.
