Cashmere beat me to my rebutal.
ita's case, of the not-offered-by-PPV, is a little trickier. I think they are calling this the "trailing edge" market. A cheaper solution is needed there.

Renting DVDs. Just say no.
Why? What's wrong with it?
I'm big with renting DVDs, even if it takes longer than forever to watch them.

Cashmere beat me to my rebutal.
It's not a rebuttal. It's a mild addendum. Cashmere having some extras in no way provides all of the American market with movies and commentary they can watch on their laptop on holiday yet not own.
PPV ties you down to not just a cable-connected house, but quite probably your own.
It's a very weird point to try and make. I don't see any possibility of coverage here.
I did it. Yet again, I started an HTML tag with a single-quote. I tried to edit it, but the edit button didn't work.
Not very work-safe. What if you liked wearing fuzzy suits but you wanted to be a human?

For real, man. I only buy something that I *know* I'll watch repeatedly. PPV isn't an option if I want to watch, say, Citizen Kane.
