Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Heh.

Yeah, I knew my joke was too obvious and that someone must have thought of it before....

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

What I'm having a bit of trouble with is the Starbucks in the library. I got some hot chocolate there this morning, because the coffee cart that's usually in front of the library was closed (well, it was closed when I went into Starbucks. It was open again when I left), and it's nice, and has better climate control and comfier chairs than most of the rest of the library, but I'm still having trouble with just the fact of its existence.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I think it's worse that some hospitals have McDonalds in them....

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

There's a Starbucks 1, in the building I work in, 2 and 3, in two buildings across the street, and 4 a block away. If the line is too long at one I can easily go to another instead.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

What I'm having a bit of trouble with is the Starbucks in the library.

No food or drink in the library!!

Creepifying, Jesse. Random strangers knowing where you live(d)...

They just changed the library rules here. Still no food in the library, but drinks are allowed if they have sippy lids.

The Starbucks has its own entrance, and you have to go outside and walk about three feet and go in a different door to get from the Starbucks to the actual library part of the library, but it's still pretty much in the library.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Starbucks aren't franchised, are they?

Nope.

There's a Starbucks in the Target near me. It's a wonder I ever leave.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

There are three Starbucks that are each less than a block from where I work. There used to be four, but one closed.
