What I'm having a bit of trouble with is the Starbucks in the library. I got some hot chocolate there this morning, because the coffee cart that's usually in front of the library was closed (well, it was closed when I went into Starbucks. It was open again when I left), and it's nice, and has better climate control and comfier chairs than most of the rest of the library, but I'm still having trouble with just the fact of its existence.

The Starbucks has its own entrance, and you have to go outside and walk about three feet and go in a different door to get from the Starbucks to the actual library part of the library, but it's still pretty much in the library.
Starbucks aren't franchised, are they?
Nope.
