I remember thinking, "would Buffy and Angel have gone so far downhill if Tim and Joss weren't stretched so thin?"
And resenting it. Which is totally meta. But there were other reasons to be irritated by it in the beginning that weren't meta.
Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe. Like the other show threads, anything broadcast in the US is fine; spoilers are verboten and will be deleted if found.

Maybe it would make more sense to be irritated at Joss and Tim for stretching themselves so thin, than at Firefly, which didn't actually choose to take them away from Buffy and Angel?
I didn't see anything to be irritated at, in Firefly itself. I am, of course, aware that you disagree.
That was a little irritating, too.
Look at you two: Arguing at a time like this. You'll use up all the posts!
Wasn't arguing.
First, I agree we should keep the posts here positive. Next, I like the idea of having a rewatch and then discussing. Regardless of where we are left to wave our flags it sounds like fun. Has anybody else started on ideas for it? If not does anybody else want to team up to start it?
No, you were just being condescending and assuming I'm a fucking idiot.
Huh? I did not.
Oh my I was totally kidding- just saw an opportunity for a Firefly-quote-insert and went for the laugh. I am so sorry if anyone's feelings were hurt by the insinuation of argument where there was none.
Ummm. Awkward.
So did anyone else see that Nathan gave Alan a bad time on stage about starting rumors? It was yesterday at the creation ripoff. Funny how no one at Whedonesque or the OB is apologizing to me.
hmmmmmm
