Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Apparently Sci-Fi reaired Strange World at some point. I'd like to see it because of the Minear and Howard Gordon connection really.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Sci-Fi did re-air it a few years ago, and I think it pops up again occasionally. It's why I recognize Tim Guinee whenever he pops up in other Canadian productions. And Kristen Lehman. It was really a Canadarrific show.

Ah, Kristen Lehman of Drive fame. Didn't realise she was in Strange World.

Hey, today I got a legal threat from somebody at BoosterEvents.com. Brightens up the day.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Why Kevin, you naughty boy, whatever have you been doing? Other than spreading the truth?

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

I posted some information copy and pasted from the public record, which they didn't like getting out. In fairness, it's from somebody who claims to have nothing to do with BE. Although they did send it from their BoosterEvents.com email address, from the BE server, and were on the organisation chart, and called staff. But I shouldn't let details get in the way.

It's a great game of pass the parcel at the minute. Nobody wants to be seen to have anything to do with Booster now that it's gone tits up. So they've just deleted the bits of the website which mention Flanvention and fucked off.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

From Whedonesque: Firefly/Serenity-inspired car. It's pretty damn cool. And apparently, it works, too.

That car must have taken a lot of work. It's kinda cool, but I hate the design of the website. Seriously, I don't want to have to scroll down to read a quote, only to have the page reload before my eyes have focussed enough to start reading, lather, rinse, repeat. It's like a text-y animated icon on LJ flipping through the text so fast I can't read it the first time through, then I have to watch it fifteen times so I can memorize each shot enough to not have to read the first bits so I can skip them and read the last bits as they flip through. And then I find out it wasn't that amusing anyway. And then there are twelve other different icons that do the same thing along with five marquis-scrolling birthday wishes on my friends page. Which is why the frisbee-like quality of my puters is so important.

Huh. Where'd that rant come from? Sorry.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

The car is cool, but I'm not sure I would see it on the street and immediately think, Firefly!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's like a fanfic of a car, really. Not the same as the text. Extrapolations and interpretations and incorporations.
