saw that awhile ago, still think the FF influence is a stretch (although it was seemingly influenced by a lot of various shows), and still highly disturbed...
Firefly 4: Also, we can kill you with our brains
Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe. Like the other show threads, anything broadcast in the US is fine; spoilers are verboten and will be deleted if found.
I think it's hilarious and I like the song. I'm just weird, I guess.
I love Muse, but that's one of my least favorite songs from the new album.
I really love it, especially the first minute or so.
I stumbled onto the Variety advert the other day online (it was linked in a random article). It's very pretty - I love it still. That advert is actually what made me investigate (ie find) the Firefly fandom, so it's all your fault Allyson and friends.
Also, there have been several times in the past year where either me or my friends have run into Joss in the UK randomly. Somebody contacted me a few days ago saying they'd had just ran into him on their street. Considering they met him in a museum a while ago in Scotland, it's now become the running joke that Joss is stalking them. That bastard. Stay off our land *shakes teacups*.
Also, no Serenity novels. I'm glad, really - although I liked the concept in theory, I know I would have ended up getting gradually more annoyed as I turned the pages, ending up burning them after page 20 when River resurrects Wash using a spork.
It's a magic spork. She bought it off eBay.
There is no spo... No, I can't do it.
