The cover is from the International poster for the movie. Whilst I don't especially like it, I do think that it's better than the US cover (llamas!). Which isn't saying much.
If it helps, River is embossed on the tin.
Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe. Like the other show threads, anything broadcast in the US is fine; spoilers are verboten and will be deleted if found.

An image of the poster is actually below the image of the tin, so you can see where the tin picture originates.
I was just looking at Amazon and got a surprise when I noticed Firefly is still #19 in the Top Sellers list. Serenity is sitting at #25.
In comparison with the USian poster, the International poster practically screams, "Watch me!" Just in comparison, but it begins to make more sense that Serenity did so much better, relatively, overseas.
That said, I don't really like either poster all that much. I like the Serenity logo much better.
Wait, wrong show....
Not necessarily. I say the cast should take a page from Farscape's book and audition for roles on BSG... renewal by infiltration.
Sure, or like Buffy alum Eric Balfour and Angel alum JAR -- they could be on Conviction.
Why isn't there a Firefly alum on there already?
TWoP has done a recap of Serenity! I just started reading it, but I'm already in love with this nailing of Mal:
He loves his ship more than anything, but like with anything else he loves, he has no idea what's going on inside her.
Ah, I was just coming here to pimp for Jacob. He's the Nice One. Also, the Verbose One.

I would be very entertained to see Adam Baldwin standing next to Jamie Bamber. And by "standing next to" I mean "looming over."
Oooh, looking forward to that recap. I haven't read Firefly recaps, but Jacob's recaps of the Apprentice, especially the late season episodes and especially the last five minutes of the last episode, were masterpieces.
There's another crash and shake, and Simon looks nervous. "Fear is nothing to be ashamed of, Doctor." Simon explains that it is not fear, but anger that he is feeling. Mal says it's hard to tell, and Simon gives him a snippy over-explanation in reply: "Well, I imagine if it were fear, my eyes would be wider." Mal says he'll look out for that next time, knowing full well that Simon's wrong: it's fear.
This feels very incorrect to me. He seemed neither nervous nor afraid to me for the majority of the film, this scene in particular.
