The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Art Crawl!!!

Fuffy-Baith was the best one, I think.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I loved the X-Files episode "Small Potatoes" but that wasn't an actual swap, so I suppose it doesn't count. I'm trying to think of one that truly blew me away, but I can't at the moment.

Visilurking

Although not technically a body swap, I still smile thinking about the "Kenny Rogers Roasters" Seinfeld episode.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

"Dreamland" was the actual body-swap episode for the X-Files. It's how Mulder got his waterbed!

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

By that logic, Farscape did it twice.

Or three times if you count two sets of switches in one episode.

Plus the "Won't Get Fooled Again/John Quixote" type episodes where you've got characters showing up as someone completely new.

Right, and that little moment at the end is great, but didn't they Quantum Leap it and have the actors continuing to play their own characters?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Right, and that little moment at the end is great, but didn't they Quantum Leap it and have the actors continuing to play their own characters?

It depended on the POV, as I recall. If the camera was shooting from roughly Scully's POV, we saw MM. If it was Mulder POV, we saw DD. But it's been ages since I saw it.

Hmm. I think I need to own that season just to refresh my memory.

Was that the season right after the movie/production move to LA? I seem to confalte the two and also mark it as the beginning of my serious misgivings about where the show was going.

Season 6. The mythology was getting kinda wacky, but some of the stand-alone episodes from that season were fantastic.
