By that logic, Farscape did it twice.
Or three times if you count two sets of switches in one episode.
Plus the "Won't Get Fooled Again/John Quixote" type episodes where you've got characters showing up as someone completely new.
'Origin'
Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe. Like the other show threads, anything broadcast in the US is fine; spoilers are verboten and will be deleted if found.

"Dreamland" was the actual body-swap episode for the X-Files. It's how Mulder got his waterbed!
Right, and that little moment at the end is great, but didn't they Quantum Leap it and have the actors continuing to play their own characters?

It depended on the POV, as I recall. If the camera was shooting from roughly Scully's POV, we saw MM. If it was Mulder POV, we saw DD. But it's been ages since I saw it.

It's been ages since I've seen the episode, but in my mind the actors always played their own characters, but reflections and such were of the body they were inhabiting, ala Quantum Leap. But, as I said, it's been ages.
thanks for those, dcp. morena and nathan are so much fun together.
I think I remember reading quotes from the interviews, but I don't remember where or just when. The link to the video might have been posted before, but I up until recently my internet access has been POTS dial-up, and I didn't want to wait out the download time.
So for Valentine's day I finally got the Visual Companion. Hooray for presents you actually want!
