Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe. Like the other show threads, anything broadcast in the US is fine; spoilers are verboten and will be deleted if found.

Adrian Pasdar: bringing hot (and ambiguously gay) to a new level since Top Gun.

My comics shop will at least like me. *cannot buy too many copies as still needs to save pennies for movie showings*

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

Spinning OOG, now.

There is nothing on TV now that approaches this stuff for quality.

Seriously. A dude could find himself talking about the good old days, if he wasn't alarmed by such formulations.

move out and draw fire

Have you ever done something insane like watch the entire run of a TV series in order on DVD over the course of a week (because you are trying to make them last), resulting in never being able to stop thinking about it, to the point of dreaming it?

PS: If I ever have to choose a stage name, I think "Pixel Barrell" would work just fine.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Nodding madly

I think I was forced to take a little more time with Firefly, but I just finished the Wonderfalls series by watching all 5 commentary episodes last night (the sun was rising as I finished). It's kind of interesting when the characters and the actors get all conflated in the dreams.

Swouncing

I never remember my dreams. So if I do dream about characters of books or tv shows,I don't tell myself.

Also, I pretty much can't watch more than two episodes (of anything I pay attention to) in a row. I need to take a break, let things sink it, clear my mind, before going on ahead. I was watching "Firefly" with a friend, and it used to drive her insane, how I had to take a break after each episode, and couldn't watch more than two, tops, in one sitting, while all she wanted was to race to the following one.

Trust my rage

I'm not sure if this Joss/Firefly article has been linked to yet. [link]

Note: It has one very very small casting spoiler which I think has been mentioned here before.

A couple years ago when I was compiling that Mutant enemy slash tape, I watched something like 160 hours of Buffy and Angel episodes in two weeks. I'm still surprised I didn't wake up thinking I was Willow at some point.

Pretty much watched Firefly over the course of a weekend, when I was feeling too sick to leave the couch. I miss a lot of the cool subtleties when on drugs, but, still, pretty! And now I get to go back and watch everything sober. Almost morally compelled to do so, actually. Or so I like to tell myself.
