Speaking of the comics, they really seem to wanting to take all of my money, as there will be variant covers that have each of the characters on the cover - and I think it is only a three-issue series, so that means multiple copies of each issue.
Of course, I could only buy one copy of each issue, but I am insane.
(Jeff, I have a really ragged Spiderman #1 under glass on the wall next to my computer.)
Still, I get dates. It is a wonder.
My sister threw out my comics once when i was a wee lad, including some early Marvel titles collected by my older brother.
The earliest on I can find now is the issue where Doc Ock killed Chief Stacy and Spider-Man was blamed.

After scolding myself for even thinking of wasting money buying all the variant covers, I've given in and admitted that I will probably not only buy them all, I'll buy two of each - one to keep bagged and one to pet and fondle.
The Jayne figure should come with all his hats.
My comics shop will at least like me. *cannot buy too many copies as still needs to save pennies for movie showings*

Seriously. A dude could find himself talking about the good old days, if he wasn't alarmed by such formulations.
Have you ever done something insane like watch the entire run of a TV series in order on DVD over the course of a week (because you are trying to make them last), resulting in never being able to stop thinking about it, to the point of dreaming it?
