I'm just waiting to see if I pass out. Long story.

Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe. Like the other show threads, anything broadcast in the US is fine; spoilers are verboten and will be deleted if found.

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

I got your back, brother Mikey.

Only because the actors were both well into the age of consent.

Marriable to that Geezer, and still cruising the high schools halls?

Not so much.

All this time, I thought Hunter was a bitch. Turns out she was just hungry.

It brought back memories of my pimply-faced youth, and what I dreamed of, but never happened to me... Kinda glad it didn't though.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I am all a-squiggle with fangeeky joy today. Not only will there be comic books, there will be action figures. Pixel Barrell reports from this weekend's Toy Fair that there will be a Mal, a variant Mal, a Jayne, a variant Jayne (good grief with the variants!) and possibly a Reaver, out in September to coincide with the movie release.

Sorry I don't have the link, but it's on Whedonesque.

Um.

Pixel Barrell reports from this weekend's Toy Fair that there will be a Mal, a variant Mal

Um, what variant would that be? Wouldn't the obvious one just require the removal of clothing?

You comic book peeps will have to speak among yourselves. Even the incredible art and story of the Fray books left me wishing for a movie or novel.

Sure, I bought 'em.

I'm a Philistine. I'm not insane.

"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

Boy, illusions are shattered. Gus is not a comic book fan.

Speaking of the comics, they really seem to wanting to take all of my money, as there will be variant covers that have each of the characters on the cover - and I think it is only a three-issue series, so that means multiple copies of each issue.

Of course, I could only buy one copy of each issue, but I am insane.

(Jeff, I have a really ragged Spiderman #1 under glass on the wall next to my computer.)

Still, I get dates. It is a wonder.

All is well that ends in pizza.

My sister threw out my comics once when i was a wee lad, including some early Marvel titles collected by my older brother.

The earliest on I can find now is the issue where Doc Ock killed Chief Stacy and Spider-Man was blamed.

No.

I refuse to believe that my post killed the thread.

I blame DX's sister.

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

I used to have the Dark Phoenix run of X-men, as well as a 1st edition, 1st printing of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1.
