Right. Piano. Because that's what we used to kill that big demon that one time. No, wait. That was a rocket launcher.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

They musta got the flowers from the flower store. The one that has its own greenhouse.

I don't remember what the flowers looked like; were they obviously not from the desert?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

They weren't in the Sahara. They were in SoCal. You're never that far from some non-desert flowers.

I must have written like I meant the opposite. I meant that the desert planet probably had a flower store, just like we would have everywhere else.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

You're never that far from some non-desert flowers.

That might have been true for the SoCal that Was....

And I meant that you don't even need a flower store for that. Just someone overwatering a patch of imported soil. I see Jamaican-type subtropicals outdoors here all the time.

FYI, Ask Ausiello today [link] (warning the site contains lots of mild spoilers on lots of shows):

Question: Is there any chance whatsoever that Firefly could be picked up and brought back to life? — Joey Yonce

Ausiello: An independent production company is apparently trying to obtain rights from Fox to continue the series either on another network or on an in-demand basis, so I guess the answer is yes. Click here for more.

The "here" included a [link]

I have no comment.

What is even happening?

Oh, someone ought to write Ausiello. He just did a bad, bad thing.

Right, pretty sure there were a couple lines about the terraforming not holding.

Yes. This was the official story, and then the Alliance (or key members) knew that the real problem was the chemical they'd pumped in to mellow everyone out.

Any chance Gina Torres just emits that or something. I'm just sayin'.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

No way!

It's hilarious.
