Lorne: Once the word spreads you beat up an innocent old man, well, the truly terrible will think twice before going toe-to-toe with our Avenging Angel. Spike: Yes. The geriatric community will be soiling their nappies when they hear you're on the case. Bravo.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm on the bus too.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

See, I already feel like the bus has made stops at Xena, Scully, and Aeryn. And probably some other people I'm forgetting.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Zoe actually said out loud that she wanted a child, though, before conceiving one. Scully and Aeryn, not so much. (I mean, theoretically Scully did, but I am IGNORING THE ENTIRE BEHIND-THE-SCENES IVF PLOTLINE BECAUSE IT WAS QUITE POSSIBLY THE STUPIDEST THING EVER LA LA LA.)

I know, I know. I was just so glad that the movie didn't go there, because my instinctive flailing reaction would have colored my opinion of the whole thing.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I was thinking, the kid would have had to have been conceived before the trip to Miranda, and, while the level of radiation (to pose as a Reaver ship) was not enough to "fry" the crew, it would probably be enough to frell the pregnancy.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Or else give the baby superpowers.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

(I mean, theoretically Scully did, but I am IGNORING THE ENTIRE BEHIND-THE-SCENES IVF PLOTLINE BECAUSE IT WAS QUITE POSSIBLY THE STUPIDEST THING EVER LA LA LA.)

Well, it was established even before the Stupidest Thing Ever, though. The Scully Baby Angst started around the time of the initial spinectomy, and just got worse and worse as time went on.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Oh, I remember who else.

Sydney's on the baby train, and Starbuck's ovaries are up for auction now too.

Shit's all sorts of different now.
