when i die, please bake my ashes into a brick and use me to hit fascists.

Yeah, Serenity's in the second-run ($1.50! $1.00 on Wednesdays! $0.50 on Mondays with groups of three or more!) theatre here in Eugene starting this weekend. I'm actually sort of surprised it only spent a week in between-theatre limbo. But I know several people who were waiting to see it till it was at the dollar theatre, so yay! that they can see it now.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

I miss Eugene. Tell it "hi" for me.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

We're seeing it on Saturday! $1.50, woo!

What should I keep an eye/ear out for the second time around?

All this time, I thought Hunter was a bitch. Turns out she was just hungry.

I just attended the South Bay's last showing of Serenity. (Pretty good sized crowd for 10:20pm on a weeknight--would've been pretty good sized for 7pm.) While watching the movie (or should I be typing The Movie?) I remembered Joss mentioned in his recent post on buffistas.org that the upcoming Serenity comic would be from the show, and it struck me that everybody in Serenity knew about Mr. Universe, and we in the audience didn't. Could this be the story that introduces Mr. Universe? Just wondering.

Edited to add: One more thing. This was at a first run house--$10.00 admission.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

We got our friends in MI hooked on Firefly.

He just called me asking if I knew of a site with the "chinese" translations on it.

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

A polyphony on being a Browncoat:

Baseline: I have still not seen Serenity.

Countrapunctus: It grossed x dollars, which are not as good as y dollars.

Chord: The DVD comes soon!

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.
