For ENDGAME you'd need a couple of penguins in trash cans, but the emporer would be sittig in a chair for the whole thing.
Oh crap. Can't. Stop. Laughing.
'Objects In Space'
Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe. Like the other show threads, anything broadcast in the US is fine; spoilers are verboten and will be deleted if found.

This all reminds me of a bunch of different Monty Python sketches. The Semaphore Version of Wuthering Heights. David Copperfield as adapted for a parrot viewing audience.
Hee!
Yeah. Except that was comedy. We're talking about Art!
Oh crap.
Don't you mean Oh Krapp?
McQueen's last movie was The Hunter, which I only know because of the Drive By Truckers song about McQueen.
A Drive By Truckers reference? I heart this thread.
t was inspired by an actual event, when Admiral Halsey (edit: I think it was him) sailed his carrier task force directly into a hurricane or typhoon or something
I heard he had to have a berth or he couldn't get to sea.
Me? I had another look, and I had a cup of tea, and a butter pie....
Just watched Dodgeball on DVD. Alan Tudyk is a hoot as Dread Pirate Steve.
OMG, I hadn't been over the the Nilly review site in a while. I LOVE the clock counting down the time until the big damn movie.

Ditto.

What he said.
I went to my local music/dvd shop today to buy the box set as a birthday present for a friend (whose birthday is Monday and I left it FAR too late, seeing as how she lives in Scotland, but that's another story). I'd bought my own copy there, and saw it on the shelf last time I went in, so I didn't think I'd have any trouble. It really was my last resort as I'd been all around the city centre yesterday looking for it and no where had it. Which annoyed me in any number of ways, as you can imagine. It wasn't out on the shelf, so I went to ask the guy if they had it. He told me they'd sold out their last two copies in the last fortnight. Which, y'know, great. But, he also started telling me that it was a great show, and did I know about the movie? And that all the staff in the show had bought their own copies and loved it, and had orders in for it constantly. I didn't think I'd ever find Firefly fans in Ireland that I hadn't created. I was so excited I ended up chatting to the guy for nearly an hour. And I still don't have my friend's present. Mixed emotions, to say the least.

Yes, but even as a belated present, you've got a winner, don't you?
