In watching Bushwhacked after seeing the movie, I got to thinking about how all the food was in place and all the consoles were on and the like. It made me wonder if the reavers didn't maybe pump some Pax-air into the other ship as a method of breeding, except only one guy out of the whole ship didn't lay down to die and then here come the heroes to bollox up that plan.
Though that theory makes me wonder what the half-life of airborne Pax is.

Oh I loved series River, because she was mysterious and hints of her past were integrated into the other storylines. She's done, now. It's time to learn about Inara's syringe, and her past, and why she was running away from Sighnon, and I'm still curious about Book. I like the idea someone posited that he was the commanding Alliance general at the battle of Serenity Valley. I want to know. I'd like to see backstory on all the crew characters. I'm just not curious about River's, anymore.

The HenryBlakeing of Wash made a lot of sense to me -- one of the basic tragedies of war is that beloved people die senselessly. If it were all nobility and bravery and self-sacrificing war would be as glamorous as most movies pretend it is.

I think it was Connie. But I don't see that as all. Book would've known that was a betrayal to keep that hidden from Mal and their relationship wasn't like that.
