Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

The HenryBlakeing of Wash made a lot of sense to me -- one of the basic tragedies of war is that beloved people die senselessly. If it were all nobility and bravery and self-sacrificing war would be as glamorous as most movies pretend it is.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I like the idea someone posited that he was the commanding Alliance general at the battle of Serenity Valley.

I think it was Connie. But I don't see that as all. Book would've known that was a betrayal to keep that hidden from Mal and their relationship wasn't like that.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I like the idea someone posited that he was the commanding Alliance general at the battle of Serenity Valley.

Also, wouldn't everyone on both sides know who the commanding generals on both sides were? I see something much more secretive.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I also don't think that explains how he knows so much about criminality.

I prefer the solution that explains everything in one fell swoop.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Well, if all life on earth were dead, and we were investigating its past. Although there's no character arc there. I mean, no life, then Life! At least mine has a little depth.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Was the guy Mal shot when the Reavers got him the same actor who played the character that took a bullet for Jayne in Jaynestown?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Now that you mention it....

...maybe.

Adrian Pasdar: bringing hot (and ambiguously gay) to a new level since Top Gun.

Nope. But he's pretty cute all cleaned up.

I knew I'd seen him before. Too bad it was That 80's Show .
