I think Zoe's victory was the dress. Which is trite and shallow, but I think her victory was not to be found in combat. It was to be found in a more quiet moment, of deciding to live, not having to fight.
Okay, that got me all choked up just thinking about that there.
Also, STEPH!!!! When did you get converted???
Oh, I'm not. I saw the movie because, well, I am pro-Joss, and I really want the movie to do well. And the sneak preview was on my birthday, and SA came up for it, and that equalled a great way to spend my birthday. And we got to meet up with LingMao and have beers after.
I did re-watch some of the episodes in prep for the movie, and some things are less off-putting than they were the first time around.
I still don't have the big ooey-gooey love for it that other people do, though.

Yeah, I got converted all the way to ooey-gooey love, but we were both on the HATE IT wagon for a while, so it's always a little surprising to see other sonverts and semi-converts.
I think I'd drop dead of a heart attack if Jess got converted.

This and that I am a completist are mostly why I'll see it, and apparently, are mostly why I bought the FF DVDs, which I've hardly watched.
I think Wesley's "I'll take away your bucket" was a bigger HSQ moment than anything Serenity delivered.
So it'd be two people with vaginas, then. We have a lot in common.
What I meant was she lobbed a lot of softball questions and fawned. Just imagined that you two would take a different approach. Not sure what vaginas has to do with it

Definitely. As far as Wesley had gone by the end of Season 3, that one line showed us just how distant he was from "all the maturity of a blueberry scone."

I think Allyson's wondering what they have in common with the hosts, then, if you take away their trademark snarkery. Vaginas and an interest in the Jossverse and crackling chemistry, I'm guessing.

I think it was squandered, though. That level of amorality should have been shimmering right under the surface (or being fought against) the whole rest of the time. Even though he did dark things later, the bucket (while pleasing) seemed uncapitalised upon.
I've always thought a podcast was a better option for The Kristen & Allyson Show.
I doubt any radio station would let us smoke while we were working.
