So. Very. Pretty.
Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe. Like the other show threads, anything broadcast in the US is fine; spoilers are verboten and will be deleted if found.
Ooh, I never saw this before! You all probably did, but I'm just getting it.
In the hospital, when Simon has River's brain on the hologram, the picture is mostly plain grey (brain-colored, I guess). Until Jayne mentions the plan changed. Just then, River's holograph brain lights up in colors all over, and that's when she screams.
I never noticed the colored brain scan before! It indicates clearly that River's brain was doing something different at that moment. That's when Jayne went from being amazed at what Simon was explaining to him, and being mad because Simon slapped his hand away from trying to touch the hologram.
That's what's great about Firefly: the little details. You can tell the crew really loved this show and gave it the extra effort.
Yes! I love it so.
Another little detail I never really picked up before: When the two Bluehands are following River et al., and they step out into the corridor where Simon and Jayne had a brief arguement about which way to go, they turn left as if they just know that's which way River went.

Edit: The Nectar Rose interview A has a minor spoiler. The B interview as well.
Tuesday 9/27 on Sci-fi, there's an "Inside Serenity" special airing at 10p E. There's also a marathon of FF eps - same day.
"Serenity" is so good! It's got a bunch of weird directorial moments (mostly Inara-related), but for the most part, it's incredibly well shot. And well plotted. And tense. And setting up things that come into play later in the series. And fuck you, Fox.
aw, I got denied a ticket for the Boston screening on Thursday. Boo!
ETA:
Damn, they're a good looking couple
Rorwr! Manomanomanoman.
Was that the blog screening offer? I got into the Philly one, but it's still not a guaranteed seat. You have to post the movie synopsis and link to the movie website and jump through hoops to "increase your chances" of getting in.
