Kalshane, I think the arrows mean "through", so there will be more than 2 espisodes shown a night.
Firefly 4: Also, we can kill you with our brains
Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe. Like the other show threads, anything broadcast in the US is fine; spoilers are verboten and will be deleted if found.
Actually, I will be there (hopefully)!
Coolness, that will make at least 5 of us (if I can get my husband to leave the office at a resonable hour of course.

Ah. Nevermind, then. I should have more faith in P-C's taste. (The whole System of a Down thing, notwithstanding.)
Heh. Debetesse is right. We're watching five episodes tomorrow and Sunday. Originally, we were going to marathon it all this weekend, but she has a test on Tuesday, so she wanted to spread it out. And I would totally ditch "The Message" in favor of "Ariel," any day of the week. The former is my least favorite, and the latter is my favorite.
I think I just have a problem with my brain being missing right now. Earlier I sent out an e-mail to the local Firefly mailing list asking for stories from the folks who had gone to the red carpet premier thinking it was almost noon in L.A. when it was actually before 8am. The arrows should have been obvious.
WTF? SciFi blanked out "crotch" (Jayne's commentary on the smell of Simon's rice).
Because, you know, crotch is a fucker of a word.
They blanked out when he said "Jesus" later, too. The fuckers .
Ooh, I never saw this before! You all probably did, but I'm just getting it.
In the hospital, when Simon has River's brain on the hologram, the picture is mostly plain grey (brain-colored, I guess). Until Jayne mentions the plan changed. Just then, River's holograph brain lights up in colors all over, and that's when she screams.
I never noticed the colored brain scan before! It indicates clearly that River's brain was doing something different at that moment. That's when Jayne went from being amazed at what Simon was explaining to him, and being mad because Simon slapped his hand away from trying to touch the hologram.
