Adam Baldwin, whose career began in the great high school movie My Bodyguard back in 1980
Nice to see someone actually remembers this film; when I mention it to RL people, they all say, "Oh, that thing with Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston?" Hell, no!
Still lots of stupid people. Although I may be unhappy and mean, too.
couldn't Jewel Staite have occasionally stopped smiling idiotically during the early episodes?
He must have not been watching when she was all shot and dying, huh?
Oh well, not the only thing Orson Scott Card and I disagree about.

That was in the final episode, remember.
To be fair, Kaylee managed a bit of a smile. Granted, it was shocky and weak, but ... oh wait. That was utterly appropriate and believable.
Jewel is *so* my TV girlfriend.
ION, did y'all see this?

That was posted in Minearverse yersterday. There was discussion, and the author of that piece showed up and joined in.
Don't the first ten count as early?
I stand by my disagreeing with OSC, though. He must not have the cute-girl-good-with-machinery-GUH! reaction that I do, 'cuz i never found Kaylee annoying.
tiaxiaode, heh. That's actually being discussed over in Minearverse, and the columnist is a brand-new Buffista.
I have to say, it took me a while to warm up to Kaylee properly, and she's still probably my least favourite character. That's got nothing to do with Jewel Staite though, and more to do with my intolerence for cheerful people.
