Hundreds flocked to a panel about Joss Whedon's lamentably canceled show Firefly, where a fan begged Ron Glass, who plays Shepherd Book in the series, to speculate about his mysterious character's back story. "I'd say he was a ballet master," Glass joked.

At about 3 a.m. Sunday, Eric "Qenatlh" Koske shared "the most common Klingon joke."
"Is a Klingon warrior red?" he boomed. "No! He is green!" Suddenly this reporter was surrounded by laughing Klingons. "It's hard to explain to humans why that's funny," one said, raising his flagon of blood wine and drinking.
I don't get it.
I really need to know why a Klingon warrior is green, now.
Maybe they bleed green?
Is it because they are covered by Vulcan or Romulan blood?
There were four Firefly panels at DragonCon, one each day. Adam Baldwin had to leave before the Monday panel, but otherwise, everyone was at each panel.
I got into the Friday panel by standing in a long line for a while. Everything Firefly-related was always packed, and the lines for autographs were so long that they had to move them outside the building and send people in by twos and threes.
