I keep seeing the name Bendis in the credits of Firefly, or BtVS, or Angel. I can't ever remember to pay attention to whether he writes, produces, ADs, edits, or what. But I always thought they just used the name 'cause the guy was on set or in the office and his name was there for the use when they needed to name the character.
I can't find one from any of those three on IMDB. A Bendis, that is.
Someone with more oomph than me should check the DVDs.
Maybe I dreamed it. No, it was in credits, and I thought... Maybe it was some other show. You know, like the credits for that show that plays in my head, or something. Sorry for the misdirect. I'll check when I have some time.
Thanks Deena and Polter-Cow. My comic ignorance is showing again.
I wouldn't know either if my husband didn't stick the titles under my nose and tell me I'd like them, and he's usually right.
I get yet another toaster. I may not have had time to read b.org for two weeks, nor to read Natter for even longer, but sharing
Firefly
? There's always time for that.
Random question: does anyone know or can point me to a list of shooting dates for Firefly? The reason I want to know is that I'm curious if OiS was shot after they knew it was over.
It must have been, because they bumped it up in the shooting order to have it be the last episode.
Am I remembering right that "The Message" was the last one they shot?

Yup. The got the word of cancellation while shooting it.

You also know this was the last because in the interview with the composer he mentioned that the song at the end of the episode was more geared towards the sadness of the ending of the series rather than the funeral.
