Zoe: Is there any way I'm gonna get out of this with honor and dignity? Wash: You're pretty much down to ritual suicide, lambie-toes.

Firefly 4: Also, we can kill you with our brains

Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe. Like the other show threads, anything broadcast in the US is fine; spoilers are verboten and will be deleted if found.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My second coworker to whom I loaned Firefly is hanging on to disc 4 longer than I want (well, okay, anything longer than a weekend is too long -- I lack perspective).

He's doing it because he likes it (He came to my desk when he was done watching and said "I'm mad at Firefly" -- I said "You're mad at Fox" and he agreed).

If I buckle down, the very first thing I do in my free time with co-workers can be to go with a bunch of them to see Serenity.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Conservative, n. A statesman who is enamored of existing evils, as distinguished from the Liberal, who wishes to replace them with others. -Bierce

She's only in it for about thirty seconds.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

From fireflyfans.net, Universal is screening Serenity in London. "At 6:30pm on Tuesday 8th February, Universal will be showing SERENITY for the first time outside of the US at a cinema in central London." Some tickets will be available at Starfury.

Link.

edited because I suddenly forgot how to do html.

I need a cunning plan. A plan which involves lying to get time off work and possibly theft of a) money, and b) a ticket. It'll be an adventure! Who's with me? Well, I say 'adventure', it'll possibly be more of a caper. Who doesn't love a caper?

Must see film. Must see film now.

Adrian Pasdar: bringing hot (and ambiguously gay) to a new level since Top Gun.

I'm hiding in Jars' luggage.
