Book: Yes, I'd forgotten you're moonlighting as a criminal mastermind now. Got your next heist planned? Simon: No. But I'm thinking about growing a big black mustache. I'm a traditionalist.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Nah, I doubt it's faked (although there are some weird photography things going on). I'll have a look through the original shooting script tomorrow(*) to see if that scene was there - maybe they were doing some 'test' shooting originally?

(*) The publishers of the Serenity script book have sent me a review copy, and it's SHINY. Production photos, in depth interviews (Zoe was originally a man) etc.

I may have to seize the cat.

Zoe was originally a man

Wh-huh?

Hey. New board.

See, I'd say I think it's definitely faked. The guy playing the psychologist has some really weird issues going on with his physical acting (for example, it's clear he's standing up as he falls, his body moves upward, not very believable) that wouldn't be in a professional film.

Though if that film is in the script, I'll eat my words. I think it's faked, though. I think somebody will find the Summer bit somewhere, or something very close to it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Wh-huh?

I bet you're quoting Wash here.

I may have to seize the cat.

I bet you're quoting Wash here.

If I am, it's entirely unintentional.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

(for example, it's clear he's standing up as he falls, his body moves upward, not very believable)

Why couldn't he be trying to stand up, maybe break free of whatever psychic hold River may have on him, before he finally collapses? I don't think that's a sign of unprofessional acting.

In any case, it's spreading. Last night, it had about 2,800 views and was number 8 in the Just Weird section. Now it's got about 5,000 more views and is number 4, poised to overtake "Breastfeeding the Cat."

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

I thought it was a Buffy quote, ita.

Zoe was indeed originally a man, according to Uncle Joss(tm). I'll have to take a scan of that bit. It's a really, really great book (sorry, "Visual Companion") for a change.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

By the way, Allyson, I presume you are already on the LA screening list?

Kristen - Aug 18, 2005 2:12:00 pm PDT #4346 of 10001

Kevin funny.

Also, I really dislike ifilm. It never works properly for me.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

By the way, Allyson, I presume you are already on the LA screening list?

AHHHHH HA HA HA HA HA

cough

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA HA HA HA

Tamara, you're the sweetest, and I'd love to hang with you, anytime you're free for a latte.

But I want me and Kristen on a guestlist. And then the storm of bitter harpidom on my heart will be quiet once more.
