Well, a gathering is brie, mellow song stylings; shindig, dip, less mellow song stylings, perhaps a large amount of malt beverage, and hootenanny, well, it's chock full of hoot, just a little bit of nanny.

You have just made me happy, P-C. I noticed the price is back up on Amazon, too, which is bad for me getting that second copy, but good that they think they can get it.

In case anyone's interested, there's a Serenity bonus disc running approximately 13 minutes that comes bundled with the Best Buy UK edition of Battlestar Galactica. I've never seen BSG, but I got it anyway for the Serenity disc.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Huh.

I was planning on waiting for the regular release of BSG, as the Best Buy UK edition has fewer extras.

What's on the Serenity disk?

Will this bonus disk work on US players?

The first part is the universe of Serenity, which consists mainly of movie clips mixed with comments from Joss and the cast. The middle part is about how much fun the cast and crew had together on the set. It ends with a segment on the fans, containing footage from Comic-Con 2004 and the first two rounds of Serenity screenings, with clips of some of the cast appearances.

ETA: The whole set including the Serenity disc is coded for US Region 1 players. It's just called the BSG UK set at Best Buy because it uses the UK release, but there's a full fledged US release of BSG to follow later on in the year.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

I got the go ahead for a UK Serenity documentary film today. Uncle Joss will be so proud. And so very scared.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

The listings page at tvguide.com has banner ads for Firefly and the Serenity trailer all over it.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I don't think anyone actually did post the ratings from Friday:

SCI FI also began reruns of FOX's cancelled series Firefly at 7 p.m. "Serenity, Part 1" earned a solid 1.3 rating outside of primetime.

All this time, I thought Hunter was a bitch. Turns out she was just hungry.

I've never seen BSG, but I got it anyway for the Serenity disc.

BSG is really good imo, and its you are there approach owes a bit to Firefly. Unacknowledged on the mini-series DVD though.
