Wank2... Simon wanted to extract something and Mal was offering him a way to make the hole bigger, and that, for fairly obvious reasons, wasn't good enough.
I kind of think that's actually it, and is kind of the joke. But never let it be said that I failed to appreciate a good wank.

Dunno.
I suppose I could TiVo it, and watch it with the DVD playing at the same time with the Picture-in-Picture feature of my TV and compare the two... but that would be silly. (i.e. I'm not that obsessive. At the moment.)
I'm sure they expected Stargate to bring viewers to Firefly, but in my case it's kinda working the other way.

Man, I forgot how much I love the dinner table scene and the Mal/Jayne face-off.

Man, that was fun. I teared up a little at seeing Joss and Tim's names on the screen and the grrr arrrgh!

I know I've got it on DVD, but i kept thinking all day "Firefly's on tonight!"
Still hasn't started here, not that it matters since I don't have SciFi.

First time I saw the Inara sponge bath I thought my DVD player had locked up for a second.
