Everybody dies, Tracey. Someone's carrying a bullet for you right now, doesn't even know it. The trick is to die of old age before it finds you.

Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe. Like the other show threads, anything broadcast in the US is fine; spoilers are verboten and will be deleted if found.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

So, what got cut?

Dunno.

I suppose I could TiVo it, and watch it with the DVD playing at the same time with the Picture-in-Picture feature of my TV and compare the two... but that would be silly. (i.e. I'm not that obsessive. At the moment.)

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'm sure they expected Stargate to bring viewers to Firefly, but in my case it's kinda working the other way.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

You know you want to. It'll be like that watch-Wizard-of-Oz-and-listen-to-Dark-Side-of-the-Moon-thing.

Man, I forgot how much I love the dinner table scene and the Mal/Jayne face-off.

Not actually sorry the Inara bathing scene was chopped some.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Man, that was fun. I teared up a little at seeing Joss and Tim's names on the screen and the grrr arrrgh!

I love Kaylee and Book and Zoe and Wash...and everybody!

I know I've got it on DVD, but i kept thinking all day "Firefly's on tonight!"

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Still hasn't started here, not that it matters since I don't have SciFi.

Sigh.

First time I saw the Inara sponge bath I thought my DVD player had locked up for a second.

Asking about this was my very first post, I think at the OB.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I wonder how many people are tuning in to Firefly on SciFi now, completely unaware that it was on Fox and has already been cancelled?

Your tag here.

Why couldn't we have had commercials like that for Firefly back in the day?

That tag never closes, Eddie.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I know I've got it on DVD, but i kept thinking all day "Firefly's on tonight!"
Yep. Being all Right (well, okay, Left) Coast it starts soon for me. And I am dvr-ing it. The dvds are sitting Right Here, but I am obsessively recording it (with three hours reserved) too. What the hell is wrong with me? It's just ... just that it is nice to see this actually on tv again... I miss my dead incestous and gay show.

edit: because while the italics are lighter, they are not exactly the shade I was looking for in a font.
