I miss him.

Yeah. In my net travels, I saw him post a sort of, "didn't I call that?" thing when Tim posted the sad news. And I thought, "make sure to shake it off so you don't dribble into your boxers when you're finished pissing on the grave."

And then I thought, "I'm a tad obsessively overprotective, which isn't really necessary."

I know The Inside is Tim's baby, but I think you are kind of a favorite aunt. Your protectiveness is understandable and appropriate.

And I hate told-you-soers.

I'm sure it wasn't an intended gloat, I'm just a raw nerve about such things. The Allyson-Filter is sometimes ridiculously humorless.

It occurs to me that getting ranted at for a pessimistic but not disparaging review might provide a lot of motivation to gloat in an I-told-you-so follow-up piece. I know I wouldn't be above writing one under such circumstances.

Which is why I refrained from kicking him.

They cancelled The Inside? Bollocks! Fox must really hate Tim and Joss. I mean, who cancels a police show? Is that four shows cancelled in three years now?

And remember, every time you support a canceled Fox show, somewhere a network executive loses his wings.

And, ideally, falls screaming into the Abyss, there to be devoured by worms.

I may be the tiniest bit bitter.
