They cancelled The Inside? Bollocks! Fox must really hate Tim and Joss. I mean, who cancels a police show? Is that four shows cancelled in three years now?
Firefly 4: Also, we can kill you with our brains
Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe. Like the other show threads, anything broadcast in the US is fine; spoilers are verboten and will be deleted if found.
And remember, every time you support a canceled Fox show, somewhere a network executive loses his wings.
And, ideally, falls screaming into the Abyss, there to be devoured by worms.
I may be the tiniest bit bitter.
Guess who got in trouble for putting the Serenity trailer online...
Guess who had to point out it had already gone out in a press release...
Interesting day. The server didn't melt, which is nice. Especially since it also hosts TheInside.org.
So, are we doing watch-and-post on Friday?

I'll be here!
Just saw the international trailer. As I said on Whedonesque, even if I had never heard of Firefly/Serenity before, that trailer would still leave me panting and clawing at the seats for the movie.
edited because show not called Friefly

I think so.
Ha! I skimmed right by it if it was. Funny.

A couple two-three times. Still good, though.
Liking the international trailer lots. Original trailer is much prettier, but I think this one is a lot more likely to hook people who are not already Firefly and/or Joss fans.
Yeah, I like the international trailer. I think it's poorly put together in some ways (in terms of editing - a little too many lines cramed in introducing The Operative), but I thought it demostrated, you know, actually talking rather than explosions.
Funny story: it originally went out on a press release yesterday morning, but the PR company attached the wrong trailer. They actually attached an episode of Count Duckula. And I'm not kidding. I had to make calls to get it swapped.
'versal have now backed down and thanked me for distributing the trailer, which is nice. Especially considering it's taken about 5 hours of my life keeping the bloody thing online.
