The evil is this way?

It was attached to the AMC theater in Warrenville (the 30 screen complex). From the sound of it, maybe the AMC theaters have got it while the others may not?

A One that isn't cold, is scarcely A One at all.

Also, loved the movie. (But love the show more.)

Luuuucy. 'Splain.

I haven't seen the movie but I read the review over at AICN and it really rang true not the likeability of the plots because that's subjective but how it's set up for the non fans and how the characters are handled.

Hey. New board.

I think the movie was a better movie than the show, and the show was a better show than the movie.

Seems sensible to me.

Sometimes evil drives a minivan.

tommyrot, brenda m and Narrator, thanks for the trailer scoop!

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

From the sound of it, maybe the AMC theaters have got it while the others may not?

The place I saw it was a Cinemark. But it was also in Wisconsin, so I doubt that really helps pinpoint things.

when i die, please bake my ashes into a brick and use me to hit fascists.

Just to help muddy those waters with another datapoint, I also saw the Serenity trailer attached to BB in Oregon at a Cinemark.

I may have to seize the cat.

Luuuucy. 'Splain.

Don't need to, as it's been said:

I think the movie was a better movie than the show, and the show was a better show than the movie.

Seems sensible to me.

Essentially, what I want in my little fangirl heart is just a Very Big Screen Episode of Firefly. Which would, of course, be a terrible movie. There are things you can do on TV that you can't do on film, like spending a long time developing characters and relationships, and establishing setting, almost all scope things. I prefer the TV scope, and after being used to seeing this story in the TV medium, seeing it on film was jarring. I wanted them to take this movie and make it 2 or 3 episodes.

But we'll take what we can get.

So any chance of a screening to coincide with the San Diego Comic Con?

It's funny because I've seen people say this is more like an episode on a bigger scale than a movie. I felt like that about some of the Star Trek movies. I'm curious to see for myself.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

So any chance of a screening to coincide with the San Diego Comic Con?

I have heard that this is a possibility but, will deny it if questioned.

Art Crawl!!!

The Serenity trailer was attached to Batman Begins out here in exurbia. So, very likely.
