Zoe: What's that, sir? Mal: Freedom, is what. Zoe: No, I meant what's that? Mal: Oh. Yeah. Just step around it. I think something must've been living in here.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

HoG is one of the most yee-haw episodes there is.

It's also been criticized by some (including me) for taking the trope of the "whore with a heart of gold" and.... doing nothing with it. Not even one little twist. Pretty much every stereotype is played out. No subverting whatsoever.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Geez, I LIKED HoG.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Cool. I watched Trash last night - good stuff, and lots of the funny. But it's Jayne and Simon in the infirmary that'll stay with you.

(Was Ariel shown out of order, by the way? I was surprised to see on the DVDs that it came so late in the series, but it could just be me.)

I'ma try to hit the other two tonight.

Oh, but my sister has only seen about half of the first run eps, so I'll make sure she watches Objects in Space before the movie if we have time. Thanks for the heads-up, Gris.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I liked HoG, too. But I have come to acknowledge that I am pretty undemanding in my Firefly love. Any (negative) criticism anyone has made of any episode was something that I just didn't notice or didn't care about.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

t sits next to Robin

I didn't read any discussion of the unaired eps till I watched them, and while I could see the reasoning behind the HoG dislike, I still enjoyed it.

Trash is my favorite of the unaireds, though.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I think Trash might be my favorite, period. It is certainly the one I watch the most.

Of course, I also think that Pangs or Intervention is my favorite Buffy, so I guess I like the lite.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

"Trash" is definitely my favorite of the unaired. I love Disc 3 like whoa.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Unaired.

Oops. Well, I liked all of the unaired episodes, but probably like The Message best. Though I don't know if it's essential for the movie.

Supposedly, none of the episdodes, aired or unaired, are essential for the movie.

Not that I've seen it and know, though.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

Yeah, none of the unaired episodes are really jumping out at me as being necessary for the movie.
