Joyce: Dawn, you be good. Xander: We will. Just gonna play with some matches, run with scissors, take candy from some guy, I don't know his name.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I actually think Johnny Knoxville is a really good actor. He is excellent in a small role in Lords of Dogtown.

That being said, I don't think the movie is going to be any good.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

Matt, did you have that knowledge in reserve, or did you Google for the joke?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I remembered hearing his name in some documentary show about Taiwan, but I had to google the link.

I may have to seize the cat.

Hey, we're not all bad.

There are even some raving liberals floating about, although you have to look hard, because we tend to hide out of fear self-preservation.

Also, cities and university towns in the South are much less Dukes-of-Hazzard-y than the more rural areas.

You know, I just saw today that there was a TV show in development called "Revved" by the guy who wrote Sorority Boys about a couple of brothers in NC NASCAR country working out of a chop shop and fighting corruption... funny how that didn't make it to pilot.

I think I worked where this was set. No really.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

My co-worker (who is really into shows like "Judging Amy" and "Touched by an Angel") would be the last person I would imagine getting into Firefly, but when I told her about getting tickets for Serenity, she expressed an interest in the DVDs. I'm loaning her the first disc, just to see what she thinks of it. She was a fan of Doctor Who back in the day (another big surprise for me!), so I might be getting another toaster!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Hey, what's the running time of the movie? My husband just found out he has to work on that Friday.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I just told my boss that I "have an appointment" on Friday morning so I'll be in a bit late.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I just told my boss that I "have an appointment" on Friday morning so I'll be in a bit late.

An appointment with Dr. Sandman?
