You always think harder is better. Maybe next time I patrol, I should carry bricks and use a stake made out of butter.

Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe. Like the other show threads, anything broadcast in the US is fine; spoilers are verboten and will be deleted if found.

"There are two sorts of people in the world: those who believe Joss Whedon is a genius and those who are wrong." - Connie Ogle, Miami Herald

Oh Hidden, that is so sweet. I really, really appreciate the thought...regardless of availability.

You're welcome. Too bad it's a bit further than 2 hours away. If anyone else needs a Philly ticket, let me know, and I'll put you on my list. I should know by the middle of next week how many tickets (if any) I have to spare.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Tommyrot, did you try checking your order history under your account information to see if the order went through?

Oh, good idea.

Nope, nothing there, except for RotS on May 24th....

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

What I said up above there? Never mind, I managed to order them.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Congratulations to all who got tickets. I hate you all. Unless you're in Seattle and have (or might possibly have) extras. Then I really, really, love you. Please, let me know who you are so I can beg for tickets express this to you.

Okay, cantstopthesignal is listing almost everywhere as sold old. One of the exceptions is Vancouver. Where I live. But when I click on MovieTickets.com, they acknowledge no such advanced screening. Serenity? they say. That's coming out Sept 30. Meanwhile, won't you enjoy this very annoying on-top-of-the-screen add for Shark Boy and Lava Girl? Again? and maybe Again?

Grr. Argh.

hip deep in pie

Abby search for "special advanced screening" or something like that.

Also, search by the screaning date (June 23).

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Abby, it looks like they're not onsale yet. 10:00pm should show up in blue on this page when they become available. [link]

Abby - Jun 09, 2005 9:37:57 am PDT #3004 of 10001

Searched by the date. I could get tickets for Batman Begins, but I'll take my chances when I decide to see it.

Can't find a place to search for special advanced screening. I can search title, date, genre, rating, zip code, starring, director, writer, producer, studio.

So far, the automated phone line tells me nothing. I am annoyed.

Oh! Thanks for that link Kalshane! I shall now commence repeated refreshing! Yay!
