Tommyrot, I did get a couple of extra tickets (memories of Trilogy Tuesday flashing through my head), but one of my coworkers might have dibs--I'm waiting for her to get back to me on whether she and her mom might join me. If she doesn't (or if her mom can't make it), you're welcome to the extra ticket!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Oh, I didn't realize you could buy more than two or I'd have done so.

I may have to seize the cat.

amych, I am glad someone called them. I didn't feel like it, because I'm a lazy slacker. And I have phone fear. But I am relieved to see it's not a problem on MY end... I guess.

Guy #1: Man, there are so many hipsters around. I hate hipsters! Guy #2: You're at the wrong place. That's like going to Vegas only to say "I hate titties!" --The Warsaw, Williamsburg (OINY)

NJ is sold out. Ah, well, I was conflicted about going anyway.

Blast! I'm a mere 30 minutes from Elizabeth NJ and that week I will be in Tennessee. Some god doesn't want me to see an advance screening of Serenity.

Where in Tennessee will you be, zenkitty? I just bought my tickets online at the Memphis Malco Paradiso, and they're likely to still have some throughout the day if you'll be within driving distance in the western part of the state.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I didn't feel like it, because I'm a lazy slacker. And I have phone fear.

Me too. Misha had to prod me in IM "Just call them. They're open by now." And then, because she knows me way too well, about 10 minutes later "so what did they say?", and then I went and called.

(Phone lady was quite nice and sounded excited about the movie herself -- just had no idea when they'd have tickets to sell.)

eta: I have officially done nothing today. Luckily, the hyperfocus thing is actually productive on days when I'm focused on something other than hitting F5.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Thanks, Kathy A - let me know when you find out.

Miriam wants to go - do you think you might have two extra ticktets?

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

I've pretty much resigned myself to not seeing it till it's generally released.

Possibly--it's very likely that, the showing being late on a work night, Ellen (my co-worker) will bail completely, leaving me with two extra tickets. I've got an e-mail out to her, and will let you know as soon as she gets back to me.
