I rearranged my trip to Seattle in order to possibly get tickets to Serenity, while I feared that I would miss the ticket sales and it would be moot. I happened to get online tonight to post about The Inside, and saw the Serenity announcement. I stayed up for over two hours, hitting refresh at Fandango every few minutes, and finally got in, shortly after midnight, Alaska time. It allowed me to start the purchasing process. I had to register, but that took about two minutes. By the time I finished registering, it said that the show was sold out. Aaaarrgghh!! Then, on top of everything else, it froze my computer. And I really must give up and go to bed, as work is coming very soon. Whaaaa!

Does anyone know if this is likely a glitch, or if it's likely really sold out? Did anyone else get tickets in Seattle? Extras?

I got 2 tix for friends in Seattle. Shortly afterwards, fandango went into maintenance mode. But from reports, it was actually sold out before maintenance time.

How can you tell when it's in maintenance mode? Do you know if they went on sale at midnight Pacific Time? Because it didn't allow me in until midnight Alaska Time, and that would be 1 am Pacific. And thanks for the info, Kernel.

I must go to bed and cry myself to sleep now.

Well, in maintenance mode the fandango front page has a message saying so. And all the other pages give error messages.

Seattle went on sale at a minute or so before 1AM, Pacific time.

Sorry. :-/

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Does anyone know what it's listed as on MovieTickets.com?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Blast! I'm a mere 30 minutes from Elizabeth NJ and that week I will be in Tennessee. Some god doesn't want me to see an advance screening of Serenity.

Special Advance Screening. It's easier to find if you click on the page for the particular theater and change the dropdown menu to the 23rd.

I keep doing that. It's just not showing up. It'll probably get listed while I'm driving to work.
