Does anyone know what it's listed as on MovieTickets.com?

Special Advance Screening. It's easier to find if you click on the page for the particular theater and change the dropdown menu to the 23rd.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I keep doing that. It's just not showing up. It'll probably get listed while I'm driving to work.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Serenity works for me, but nothing's showing up yet for the 23rd.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

So....it's in Cincinnati. Do I get tickets? Cause, see, the showing is on my birthday as well, and I don't know if that's how I want to celebrate my birthday. Hmmm.

Go for it. At least seeing the movie is much better than what I'm doing right now on my birthday. (Of course, that would be periodically checking to see if tickets are available yet.)

Well, I'm one of the folk who is kind of iffy on Firefly in general. But I feel like I should see it. And people who have already seen the preview assure me that the things I have the biggest issue with (the unexplained Chinese epithets, the Western-ish slang) are toned way down in the movie, compared to the series. So....I dunno.

Yeah, those elements are toned down. The manner of speech is the same, and we see hints of the Chinese influence, but they don't appear to the same degree they do in the TV series.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Ugh. movietickets.com must be getting slammed. It's taking forever to load.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Actually, Steph, since you're not crazy about Firefly, I'd say you should probably put off seeing it until it's in its finished form.
