Online Stargate fandom skews female, for sure. But in terms of Nielsens and DVD sales? I'd be a lot less sure.
Online fandom is probably the bulk of the preview screening audience for Serenity though, so there's probably something similar in effect. I bet if Lucas had done extensive preview showings of RotS the audience would have skewed mostly male.

I bought four tickets for Boston.
A limit of four, or that's just how many you happened to buy?
Sorry to be difficult, I'm just trying to have my plan in place, because if I miss out on tickets to a showing here, people will suffer.
I thought someone posted something upthread (here or in Spoilers) that if they caught you buying too many tickets they'd cancel your order.
I think the people who bought our tickets just tried for 4. I'm not sure though.

I asked for four in SF and got them. (Man, the angst that getting only two would have caused...)
The limit was ten from what I understand. I bought 8 with no problems and I know others from SF and Sacromento bought lots of ten.
