I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Looks like that worked.

How nice that no one was turned away for showing up dressed in an unusual manner.

If I only had a brain...

I think we had the only kids at our screening. Well, 10PM show... duh.

KC also had two Kaylees, one of which I could swear was dressed exactly like in the first episode. Same shirt, even. No idea where she got it, but if it wasn't the same thing, it was a remarkable ripoff. Another guy's shirt had an arrow pointing up and Big Damn Hero under it. At least three actual brown coats. I wanted a Simon vest-shirt combo so badly at that point. I even have the purple glasses.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Was there a SF screening last round, and were any of the cast there?

Yes, there was a previous SF screening and Alan Tudyk and Gina Torres were there. So basically they spread the cast around as much as they could.

Visilurking

Morena was in DC, and that's all I know so far.

Because I didn't have enough reasons to regret not getting those tickets.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

I have a Serenity keychain!

We had Kaylees aplenty. If I was going to dress up, I totally would have rocked Inara, though. I didn't see one!

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I noticed a bunch of the Kaylees. My friend spotted somebody in a "Blue Sun" t-shirt. Didn't see any cunnin' hats, though.

If I only had a brain...

We had blue gloves, a Kaylee in her capris-and-parasol outfit, and a Kaylee in a fluffy pink dress. No Inaras.

Oh, we had a Companion too. Gorgeous shiny patterned wrap-thing on. This was right after my best friend wished aloud someone had come as Inara.

I may have to seize the cat.

I think I'd go River, because her clothes are so easy (pink peasant skirt and red sweater? I can totally do that) and because she seems like one people aren't dressing up as all the time. I don't have the build for it at all, but my coloration is half-right.

Summer Glau is a cutie, and I'm short, and some people equate short with cute, so there you are. We're just alike.
