Xander: Am I right, Giles? Giles: I'm almost certain you're not. Though, to be fair, I haven't been listening.

'Sleeper'

Firefly 4: Also, we can kill you with our brains

Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe. Like the other show threads, anything broadcast in the US is fine; spoilers are verboten and will be deleted if found.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Huh. Well, damn.

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

Everyone in the Firefly thread is stoned.

Long live Serenity!

Long live being stoned!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Don't suppose anyone else is hitting the KC screening?

I was there a couple of weeks too early. Plus, it was already sold out before I knew about it.

Adrian Pasdar: bringing hot (and ambiguously gay) to a new level since Top Gun.

Tempted to start guerilla marketing to the Star Wars geeks at my office. But the wilds of SC scare me.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

SF folks: any chance of coordinating a before-the-movie meetup, maybe over dinner?

That way y'all get a chance to meet Vonnie!

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Wheeee!

(Don't mind me. I'm not supposed to be here.)

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I want to meet Vonnie!!!

Alas, I am not in SF.

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

Tempted to start guerilla marketing to the Star Wars geeks at my office.

Can you play DVDs in any way there? 'Cause that's the best way, just leave it playing, and people will start watching. I got one guy hooked on Kurosawa that way.

Heh. The computers in my office are old... my boss/supervisor has a dvd player in hers, but that's it.

Of course, she named her son after her favorite science fiction characters, and thought the trailer looked "cool," so maybe there's a chance.

Um.

Tempted to start guerilla marketing to the Star Wars geeks at my office.

The Toronto Star already has. Yesterdays paper had a reference to Serenity as the next big sci-fi film for those suffering from withdrawal symptoms.

And yet? No preview screening.
