Yes, but only a few of the Elves know about it.

Firefly 4: Also, we can kill you with our brains
Discussion of the Mutant Enemy series, Firefly, the ensuing movie Serenity, and other projects in that universe. Like the other show threads, anything broadcast in the US is fine; spoilers are verboten and will be deleted if found.
Isn't that Python ep the Sir Philip Sydey/Superintendent Gaskill one?
YES!!! Hysterical, that one is.
I may be suffering ass-crack flashbacks but I believe The Goodies made mention of a book called "Gay Boys in Bondage".
Spontaneous simultaneity. It's a thing.
I know the marmots have flatscreen, HDTV, and possibly housekeeping robots. They got to the future before we did.
Probably with plaid ass-less chaps, too, the varmints.

When they re-run Firefly the marmots will be happy.

Were The Goodies pre- or para- or post-Python? I know they all pretty much came out of the same British humor gene pool (Oxbridge/Frost Report).
That should have been "humour", shouldn't it?
They had a massive overlap. Monty Python first aired in October 1969 (and ran until Dec. '74); The Goodies just over a year later, in November 1970 (and ran until Feb. '82). And yes, it should have been 'humour', since that's the correct spelling. t /snobby British
Wow, I didn't know the Goodies had that long a run. PBS used to show them over here, but the last time I remember seeing them was in the late 70s.
*Sigh* I miss the British comedy PBS used to show - Reginald Perin (sp?), The Two Ronnies, Yes, Minister. Must look for DVDs. eyes budget warily
Frank ... I believe the seasons of The Goodies were a bit like Red Dwarf. They didn't make episodes during every one of those years; there were gaps between some seasons. Moreover, as with most UK shows, they only make a handful of episodes per season.

No, I get that after going to the link. Still, there were fewer gaps, and more eps per year, than I was expecting. I thought they had only been around for a year or two back in the day.
